Lavender

Lavender loves her affection just like the others, but she is also happy to be second in line for it. She is not the type to battle it out for what she wants, instead she thinks outside the box to get her fair share. If there doesn't seem to be room in front of the hay bunk she will just jump on top of it. She can almost always be found palling around with her bestie Brownie.

Lavendar & Me

Hello

Lavender was born on July 18, 2021 on a farm in southern Colorado. She was one of my favorites when we began selecting our herd. The owners of the farm had chosen Lavender as her name and it seemed to suit her. Even then she seemed so delicate yet strong.

Settling In

Like her bestie, Brownie, Lavender was curious and explored every nook and cranny of her new home. Her tiny frame allowed her to go where her herd-mates could/did not. We called her our little escape artist in the beginning. She was great at showing us ALL the holes that we missed in the fence!

All Grown Up

Our sweet flower is not so little and delicate anymore. She is as quick on her feet as she is in her mind and just as loving as ever! I can't wait to see what happens when she meets the right buck and becomes a mom. Those kids probably won't get buy with anything!

Thick As Thieves

Lavender and Brownie are the best of friends. These two are inseparable and enjoy spending their time playing, exploring, and snacking around the farm. When they are not snacking they love getting into mischief or sleeping under a shady tree. They are a joy to have on the farm, and we are happy to say that they bring us as much joy as we bring them! They bring a smile to our faces and we are proud to have these two as part of our farm family!
